Brian became heavily involved with the psychedelic scene. In about 1966, he began growing his hair and sideburns longer, and wearing groovy threads from King's Road. His musical style also changed during this period. He began to experiment with the sitar, and the maribella. This is evident on the Stones' 1967 album, Their Satanic Majesties Request. Brian was the epitome of psychedelia when he made an appearence at the International Monterey Pop Festival, in Monterey, California in the summer of love, 1967. He introduced his good friends, The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Here is a tribute to Psychedelic Brian!
